In this session, we will define the term "Network". Participants will walk away with tools demonstrating how to find, build, and leverage networks you are interested in and those you are already part of. We will learn skills to make small talk meaningful, and practice real-life networking scenarios.

Meet, discuss, and share ideas with other JSA boards and members from across the Midwest to improve your universities JSA. Each school will have a representative present their schools JSA events, structure, and any other information the school would like to share. This will be followed by a group discussions regarding different topics.

Explore the University of Michigan’s vibrant campus through an exciting Pokémon scavenger hunt and form connections with your group members as you work together to catch all of the Pokémons!

Great Lakes Taiko Center (五大湖太鼓センター) will be performing at our conference this year! GLTC is a Southeast Michigan-based arts and culture collective that has taught and performed Japanese taiko drumming since 2009. Their performance draws on generations of Japanese musical tradition while reflecting taiko's growth as a living, global art form.

MJSAs sponsor will host a session regarding career information at Japanese companies. They will be sharing information about services and opportunities available to students.

This portion of the conference offers attendees a valuable chance to engage directly with companies and community partners, learn about internships or career pathways, and build meaningful professional connections.
